I think about my journey in design as a spectrum, in a way.

At one end of the spectrum, I've worked with some of the world's most prominent brands. For example, at Walmart, I led the re-envisioning of customer and associate experiences, transformed the design organization, and forged new partnerships with business and tech leaders during a significant period of growth and challenge in Walmart's history. I've also worked with Caterpillar, designing software to remotely manage autonomous mining vehicles in the world's largest iron ore mine in Western Australia. This involved launching global product and design teams and utilizing AI and Lidar to converge the physical and digital environment, making it safer and more profitable.

At the other end of the spectrum, I've worked with start-ups and small businesses. I collaborated with Zelda, a company that responded to the COVID-induced mental health challenges with a digital product that uses bibliotherapy to expedite coping and healing. Through agency Adjacent, at financial services firm AVL, we introduced a design sensibility typically seen in other industries as part of their transformation. And at the bio-pharma startup Nooma Group, I'm leading the creation of the brand identity and expression across touch-points, and leading design initiatives for bio-pharma clients with the goal of reducing clinical trial times and enabling patients to receive the treatment they need sooner.

I am passionate and skilled at navigating critical questions and their solutions, approaching them as a spectrum. The insights from either end can enhance our understanding of the other.
